A Kenmore West High School ensemble recently went on a performance tour of Burlington, VT and Northern New York.

The Kenmore West Bombo Combo provided a performance at the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival as a part of the Jazz on the Church Street Marketplace concert series. The group also visited Plattsburgh High School to give a performance for the music department students. They participated in a recording session at Tank Recording Studios in Burlington and also visited the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam to take a masterclass with Director of Jazz Studies Dr. Seung Young Hong.

Students who took part in this exciting trip included Maranda Ackendorf (guitar), Copeland Baker (trombone), Brian Dehima (tenor saxophone), Stella Dettbarn (bass), Alistair Gianni (baritone saxophone), Quinn Lew (alto saxophone), Cooper Potts (drum set), and Kenmore East High School student Nolan Vitko (trumpet).
