For the past 19 years at Kenmore West, Rob Roszak has made a lasting impact on countless students and colleagues through his dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for others. In the Academic Assistance Center, Rob builds meaningful relationships with students from all backgrounds and academic levels. He takes time to understand each student’s goals and challenges, tailoring his support to meet their individual needs. Whether working with English Language Learners, students with 504 or IEP plans, or those enrolled in advanced coursework, Rob creates an environment where students feel supported, respected, and capable of success. Rob plays a key role in monitoring student progress, including grades, attendance, and assignment completion. His focus on math intervention and student growth helps students stay on track academically and gain confidence in themselves. He is also instrumental in supporting the credit recovery program during the school year and summer school, helping many students earn the credits needed for graduation. Beyond his work with students, Rob is a dependable and collaborative teammate who is always willing to help others. As the varsity hockey coach, he also mentors student-athletes both on and off the ice, promoting teamwork, accountability, and leadership. What makes Rob especially deserving of this recognition is his humility. When informed, his response was simply, “Why me?” before mentioning the many other deserving people in the building. That selfless attitude speaks volumes about his character and commitment to others.
